Fixed-term contract 3-day work week | (Monday to Wednesday, 12:00 PM to 06:30 PM)
As we enter the peak seasonal period, la maison, our shop in the heart of Vienna’s 1st district, is looking to strengthen its team for November and December. We are looking for a hands-on Barista (m/f/d) who brings warmth, attention to detail, and a passion for creating an exceptional in-store experience.

paper republic is one of the world’s fastest growing brand of premium notebooks and leather accessories. We design, produce and ship our notebooks directly to 300.000 customers worldwide through our own ecommerce website. We are a dynamic international team over 120 people with more than 35 nationalities who like to develop and implement ideas together. Based in the heart of the 9th district in Vienna, paper republic HQ spreads over 1000sqm, bringing together production, warehouse, office, and shop in the first district, making it a unique, fun and beautiful place to work.
Your Responsibilities:
You will prepare and serve our full range of hot and cold beverages
You will operate, maintain, and care for our coffee machines and other equipment, and tend to the maintenance of the coffee bar, work, and sitting area
You will provide friendly, efficient, and top-notch support to our customers and workshop participants, creating a welcoming atmosphere
You will handle checkout operations, cash register and accurately process payments
You will monitor our stock levels and restock inventory and supplies as needed.
You will support our shop sales team in the daily operations whenever needed as well as represent our brand, securing a premium in-store experience
You will ensure and follow our strict compliance with hygiene, safety, and food quality standards.
Your Profile:
You are able to work from Monday to Wednesday from 12:00 PM to 06:30 PM
You possess a healthy passion for customer experience & personalized services, brand storytelling, and community-building
You ideally already have experience as a Barista, possess basic sales or customer service experience
Your English needs to be fluent and basic German is a must, any other languages are a plus
